Bill Wright

BILL at THE CARTIERVILLE BOATING CLUB
Bill Wright joined the Club in 1958 and won his first 'Dominions',Canadian Championship that same year in the Cartierville Juvenile War Canoe.
In 1961, Bill finished 3rd in the Junior C-2 with partner Rick White and won gold with Rick, George Wallace and Don MacDuff in the Junior C-4 in the Canadian Championships at Ottawa.
In 1962, Bill together with Norbert Heese, Guy Bourdeau and Nick Pascal finished 2nd in Ottawa in the Senior C-4.
Bill also won several war canoe races in the Junior and Senior categories with Cartierville team-mates at the National Championships.
Bill Wright was a downhill skier in St. Sauveur
