Terry was a phenominal paddler with Mississauga winning Juvenile C-1 and C-2 in both 1964 and 1965
He also won Junior C-2, Juvenile and Senior C-4, many war canoes and was a strong contender in the Olympic Trials at 15 with partner and coach Bill Collins
While in Ottawa to see his son, Terry who lives in Calgary, paddled (7 Km with Bob in C-2) for first time in 34 years
He still had the magic stroke and still quite fit
